Despite what others may seem to force us to think, we don’t need to drink as much traditional milk as the public makes you think. I have been discovering great alternatives to cow’s milk. The shelves are now stocked with all kinds of different types of milk alternatives. You can now pick from different seeds, oats, hemp, nuts, etc. My favorite is actually Almond Milk. I have discovered a great way to make my own Almond Milk, enabling me to know exactly what is in it. Making your own is not only healthier but also more cost effective. Despite what you think, almonds are not nuts, but rather a seed no different from a peach or cherry, although almonds provide a great source of monounsaturated fats. I have discovered 3 different ways to make my own milk and natural ways to sweeten if you prefer it a little sweeter.
